Excellent chicken any day of the week. Well worth the drive to Kirbyville. We've been driving from Lumberton for years to eat. When we think of chicken nothing compares to Jenny's.

My husband and I stopped here on our way home from a road trip, and we were so glad we did. The food was amazing. Our burgers and fries were absolutely delicious, and our fried apple pie was the cherry on top. It wasn't the fastest, but it was worth the small wait. We are so glad it's only a 45 minute drive, because we plan on making a special date night trip back out, and we will do our best to route out-of-town family through Kirbyville whenever they drive down from the Midwest. Would absolutely recommend and can't wait to go back the next time we get a hankering for good ole American food.
I passed through Kirbyville and stopped at Jenny's in favor of something local versus a franchise. Wow, was the food amazing! I ordered the fried shrimp and mac and cheese. What I didn't know is that the fried shrimp was part of a combo including fried catfish, the fried shrimp, french fries, jalapeno hush puppies, and cole slaw, and a drink. It was a pleasant surprise, but the menu is confusing on how to order and what comes with the food, but the taste makes up for it by far. I could tell this was a local gem because it was barely 5pm on a Wednesday and there was a line of about 10 people. The service wasn't bad, but can be confusing if you aren't a local.
Great place in Kirbyville for lunch or dinner! Really great fried chicken!! They also have really good hamburgers, fried shrimp, and other great choices. They also have a good selection of sides along with fountain drinks also! The folks here are very friendly and outgoing. Great ambience and plenty of tables and booths for your dining experience.
